Should I go timber or composite decking?
Timber looks beautiful and costs less up front but needs oiling to stay that way. Composite costs more initially but is very low maintenance. We will help you weigh it up for your spot and how much upkeep you want to do.
Do I need approval for a deck or pergola?
Some structures need building approval in the ACT depending on size, height and location. We can talk you through what is likely required for your job during the quote.
Can you attach a pergola to my house?
Yes, we build both attached and freestanding pergolas. Attaching to the house is common and we flash it properly so you do not get leaks.
How long does a deck take to build?
Most domestic decks and pergolas are a matter of days once we start, depending on size and access. We will give you a realistic timeframe with your quote.
